I love TickTick but the free plan locks the weekly/monthly calendar view behind a paywall, and I can't justify paying for it right now. I need something that works on Linux desktop and Android with sync, and the calendar view has to actually be free.
On top of the calendar view, I need the basics: task notes/descriptions, tags and groups for organizing stuff like #work, #personal, #someday, priority levels, due dates and reminders, and recurring tasks. I also share a lot of links, videos, and posts from YouTube, Reddit, and Facebook into my task app, so quick capture matters a lot.
I've heard of a few alternatives (Super Productivity, Mindwtr, Cfait) but don't know which actually fits this workflow, and I don't want to waste time setting one up just to hit the same paywall wall again.
