Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of IdeaSignals ("the service"). By creating an account or browsing the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What IdeaSignals is

IdeaSignals surfaces app ideas derived from posts that were publicly available on social media (such as Reddit) at the time they were collected, each scored for demand and linked back to its source thread. Ideas are provided for informational purposes — we don't guarantee that any idea is original, unclaimed, or will succeed if built.

Accounts

You sign in using a third-party provider (Google or GitHub). You're responsible for keeping that provider account secure, and for any activity that happens under your IdeaSignals account.

Free and paid access

A rotating set of ideas is free to read at /public/ideas without an account. The full ideas board requires a free account, and the complete history and ongoing signal require a paid subscription (see Pricing).

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account page — cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute the ideas board at scale, attempt to circumvent access controls, or use the service in a way that disrupts it for other users.

Intellectual property

The scoring, analysis, and presentation on IdeaSignals are ours. The underlying source posts remain the property of their original authors — we link to them rather than claim them.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any idea presented is accurate, complete, or commercially viable.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, IdeaSignals is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including business decisions made based on ideas surfaced here.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
