Any pomodoro timer app with binaural beats music in the background?

Does anyone know of any pomodoro timer app with binaural beats music in the background? As of now I use either flow or pomodoro timer on web with binaural beats music on ytub but there are 2 main issues: Ytub ads qty getting unbearable Using 2 diff platforms not very productive and creates issues in tracking the timer and starting/stopping music

The problem, in the searcher’s words

Someone doing pomodoro sessions wants binaural beats playing in the background for deep focus, but right now has to run two separate things: a timer app or website, and YouTube for the binaural beats track. That means dealing with YouTube ads interrupting the flow state, plus the hassle of starting/stopping music and the timer separately instead of them being in sync.

The ask is simple: one app that does both — pomodoro timer plus binaural beats/focus audio — without ads, and without needing to tab between two platforms.

What the thread shows

One user's specific pain (ad interruptions + juggling two platforms) prompted five different existing tools being recommended, showing this exact combo (timer + focus audio) is a known, actively-solved niche rather than an unmet gap.

1. Ytub ads qty getting unbearable 2. Using 2 diff platforms not very productive and creates issues in tracking the timer and starting/stopping music

Both actually but more on the deep focus side.

Mynoise.net has a range of sounds including binaural beats and there's countdown timers. There's no ads, it's paid by donation and there's some premium features if you pay.

bekadoo lets you paste a spotify/yt link right into the timer so it's all in one place

Target customer

Who

People using the pomodoro technique for deep focus work who also rely on binaural beats or ambient audio to concentrate

Context

They currently run a pomodoro timer app/site alongside a separate audio source (usually YouTube) and get frustrated by ad interruptions and the lack of synced start/stop between timer and music.

What to build

  • Standard pomodoro timer (work/break intervals, customizable durations)
  • Built-in binaural beats / focus audio tracks, no ads
  • Audio auto-starts on work session and pauses on break
  • Offline playback / installable as a home-screen app
  • Simple, distraction-free UI

Build note — Binaural beats require stereo dual-tone audio generation (Web Audio API or pre-rendered tracks); mobile offline support needs cached audio assets; syncing timer state to audio playback is the core technical differentiator commenters said current tools lack.

Later, if it lands

Ability to paste custom Spotify/YouTube links (like bekadoo)Adaptive/generative soundscapes tuned to focus vs. noise-cancelling (like Endel)Session stats and streak trackingCustom binaural frequency selection (e.g. targeting alpha/theta focus states)

Who’s already out there

Forest
medium

Popular focus/pomodoro app with gamified tree-planting mechanic and some built-in focus music.

Gap: A commenter noted it has focus music 'including binaural beats,' but it's unclear if binaural beats are a core, well-tuned feature versus a minor add-on.

Endel
high

Adaptive soundscape app generating ambient audio for focus, sleep, and relaxation.

Gap: Not primarily a pomodoro timer, so it doesn't natively sync audio to work/break intervals the way the OP wants.

MyNoise.net
high
Visit

Ambient/binaural sound generator site with countdown timers, ad-free, donation-based with some paid premium features.

Gap: Timer functionality is a countdown, not a full pomodoro work/break cycle manager.

bekadoo
low

Described by a commenter as a timer that lets you paste a Spotify/YouTube link directly into it.

Gap: OP could not find it via search, raising doubt about its existence or discoverability.

Demand read

The only payment signal is a passing mention that a competitor uses a donation/premium model, not a direct statement of willingness to pay from the OP or other frustrated users; demand evidence is present but thin.

Worth digging into before you build

6 to consider

No idea is a sure thing at this stage — these are open questions worth checking yourself, not a verdict against building it.

Already Solved

Commenters named five existing tools (Forest, Endel, MyNoise.net, pomodoro.io, bekadoo) that already combine timers with focus audio.

Generic Idea

Pomodoro timer apps are a saturated category; differentiation purely on 'has binaural beats too' is thin.

Single Voice

Only the OP describes the actual pain point (ads + platform-juggling); other commenters respond with tool suggestions, not their own corroborating complaints.

Weak Demand

No explicit willingness-to-pay statement from the OP or frustrated users; only a passing note that MyNoise.net is donation-funded.

Verify Competitors

bekadoo and pomodoro.io/pomodora io could not be confirmed as real/findable tools (OP themselves couldn't locate bekadoo).

Thin Source

Post scored only 1 with 67% upvoted and 12 comments, limiting the strength of the corroborating evidence.
