ADHD-specific momentum recovery tracker
ADHD: How do you actually stay consistent when your motivation just disappears overnight?
Does anyone else feel like they have two completely different brains depending on the day? I'm not talking about big dramatic failures. Its smaller tan that. Ill do something consistently for 4 5 days, feel proud of myself, and then miss one day for a dumb reason — I was tired, someting came up, whatever. And that one missed day turns into three, and then Im back to feeling like I never started at all. The worst part is I know what I'm supposed to do. Im not confused about the step. My brain just refuses to cooperate once the initial excitement wears off. Ive tried habit trackers, Ive tried just 5 more min tricks, Ive tried being harder on myself. What actually got you to stop the start-stop-start-stop cycle? Not the just be disciplined advice, Ive heard that a million times and it does nothing when your brain is the problem.
The evidence
motivation just disappears overnight
start-stop-start-stop cycle
tried habit trackers, Ive tried just 5 more min tricks... it does nothing when your brain is the problem
The idea
A habit-building tool designed specifically for ADHD brains to break the 'all-or-nothing' cycle by providing low-friction ways to restart a routine after a missed day.
Why it scored high
The user explicitly states that standard habit trackers and discipline advice fail them because they don't address the specific way their brain loses interest once initial excitement fades.
